Ingredients
1.hesaru belle(moong dhal)-1 cup
2.avalakki(beaten rice)-2 to 3 cups
3.huli pudi or bisibelle bath pudi-1 tblsp
4.vegetables-carrot,beans,peas,onion ,cabbage.
5.tomato-1
6.kadale kayi bija(ground nut)-1 tblsp
7.tamarind paste-1 tsp
8.kobbari(dry coconut)-2 tblsp
9.haldi-1/2 tsp
seasonings
1.oil- 2 tblsp
2.sasivae(mustard seeds)- 1 tsp
3.jeera-1tsp
4.hing- 1/2 tsp
5.curry leaves-few
6.red chilles-2
Method
1.boil hesaru belle adding little water and a pinch of haldi in pressure cooker
2.boil vegetables also in cooker in a separate container
3.in a kadai ,heat oil ,add seasoning one by one,when its stop spluttering, add boiled belle,add vegetables mix well
4.add huli pudi ,tamarind paste mix well
5.and also add kobbari ,salt , sugar-mix well
6.finally add avalakki ,just mix it for 2 mins turn off the gas(stove)
note
no need to soak avalakki in water
